Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type steam trap capable of continuously securing actions of a temperature reactive member and capable of removing deposits from an orifice.SOLUTION: An orifice cleaning member 107 of a float type steam trap 100 includes a bimetal 14, an operation member 15, and a filtering member 119. The filtering member 119 is formed in a conic shape of which the bottom surface is removed. In the filtering member 119, an outer edge on the bottom surface side of the cone is brought into contact with an inner surface of a case 13. In a drain inflow passage R from a valve chamber 4 to the bimetal 14, the filtering member 119 is positioned before the place where drain reaches the bimetal 14, so that dust in the drain can be removed by the filtering member 119 before reaching the bimetal 14. Accordingly, dust in the drain can be prevented from adhering to the bimetal 14 and the vicinity thereof, so that continuous smooth actions of the bimetal 14 and continuous smooth actions of the operation member 15 can be maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
