To provide a float capable of dispensing with packing a foaming agent so as to prevent the environmental contamination, and being easily manufactured with high strength.
Float composing parts 1 made of a thermoplastic resin are respectively formed by connecting plural fan-shaped hollow members by hinge parts 3 by blow molding, and end parts of the float composing parts positioned at both ends are provided with recessed parts 13 and flange parts 14. When the float composing parts are folded at their hinge parts to be formed into the columnar body shape, side faces 4 of the float composing parts are abutted on one another and radially extended to exercise the reinforcing function, and the flange parts are bonded and fixed by means of bolts 11 and nuts 12 accommodated in the recessed parts to complete a columnar float 1A. A center of the collection of the fan-shaped pivot parts of the float composing parts is provided with a through hole 8 for inserting a rope when plural floats are connected.
