Title:
FLOATING BEARING STRUCTURE FOR SUPERCHARGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH102227
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce discharging of lubricating oil by centrifugal force so that efficient supply of oil can be performed.

In a floating bearing structure, a supply oil hole 21 of a bearing member 12 is formed to be biased so as to extend a center axial line QO thereof in a direction of rotation as shown by an arrow mark A of a rotary shaft 11 from an internal peripheral surface over to an external peripheral surface. When the bearing member 12 is turned together in the same direction with rotation of the rotary shaft 11, lubricating oil supplied to the supply oil hole 21 acts so as to be guided in a side of the rotary shaft 11. As a result, this action can cancel centrifugal force acting in the lubricating oil supplied to the supply oil hole 21 tending to discharge it to the outside, the lubricating oil is efficiently supplied between the bearing member 12 and the rotary shaft 11.
