To prevent door body blocks on a front end side from floating due to minor flooding and eliminate hindrance to the passage of pedestrians and vehicles.
A floating body connection type flap gate 11 of a door body is constructed such that a plurality of door body blocks divided in the height direction are connected together to be rotatable in a height-direction plane toward a direction of flowing water, in order to block an opening or a gateway to which the water flows, and that only the door body blocks on a front side of the hight direction are rotatable by a predetermined angle also in a direction opposite to the inflow water direction. A front end floating body block 16 having a buoyancy adjustment function provided inside with a buoyancy chamber 16a and a water intake chamber 16b is installed in a range of the door body block 12a on the front side where pedestrians and vehicles can pass through. As to the water intake chamber 16b, a lid 16c with an opening formed for taking rain water or the inflow water is provided in a top face in the case of the front end floating body block 16 having a buoyancy adjustment function in a fallen state, and a drainage device 17 is provided in the front end part. Consequently, the passage of pedestrians and vehicles is not hindered in the case of minor flooding.
