Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of thermal deformation of the upper face of a floating body without providing a large-scale facility.
A heat insulating part 3 is provided at least at the end part of the upper face 2c, exposed onto the water surface W, of the floating body 2 of hollow box shape constituting a floating body structure 1. A foam material such as styrene foam or polyethylene foam is used as the heat insulating part 3. Depending on the application of the floating body structure 1, pavement 4 of asphalt or concrete, or various structures are provided on the heat insulating part 3.
