To provide a floating body structure capable of reducing rocking of the floating body structure, for example, in a range suitable for a marine resource excavation base, a floating body type leisure facility and a hotel (for example, in a range that trouble is not caused in work for writing letters or in walking, generally within a range of roll motion of 3-5°).
The floating body structure 1 is provided with a floating body 2 and a plate-like surrounding wall 5 for continuously surrounding a periphery of a projection structure part 4 provided on a lower end of the floating body 2 along a circumferential direction. The surrounding wall 5 is provided such that an area of a clearance formed between an upper end or a lower end of the surrounding wall 5 and an outer peripheral surface of the projection structure part 4 becomes 20% or less of an area of a clearance formed between the lower end of the surrounding wall 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the projection structure part 4.
