To make small the deformation quantity of a watertight rubber film installed on a bottom surface of a door body.
There is provided a floating body type flap gate 11 having a door body 12 which stands and swings in a height-directional plane in a direction of flowing-in water to close an opening part or doorway. A hinge mechanism provided to the door body 12 comprises pins 12c, 12d fitted to side faces of a tip side 12b and a base end side 12a, and arcuate grooves 13a, 13b which are provided to side part door stops 13 on both sides and have their centers at the center "c" of rotation of the door body 12. A guide mechanism of the hinge mechanism comprises a concave arcuate contact surface 12aa which is provided on the base end side 12a of the door body 12, and a convex arcuate contact surface 14aa which is provided to a base 14 and paired with the contact surface 12aa. A watertight rubber film 15 which connects the base end side 12a of the door body 12 and the base 14 to each other is arranged passing the center "c" of rotation of the door body 12. Consequently, a decrease in watertightness and damage of the watertight rubber film can be minimized. Further, no tough and flexible watertight rubber film is necessary and more kinds of rubber are thereby usable.
