To erect a door body without the need of power without obstructing an erecting function during flooding.
In a floating body type flap gate 1, a distal end side 2b of a door body 2 is erected and swung with a proximal end side 2a as a fulcrum within a plane in a height direction in the direction of water that flows in, in order to shut down an opening when water flows in. A movable pulley 11 is attached to one end of an extension coil spring 13 to impart tension in a direction of erecting the door body 2 to a wire rope 5 whose one end is attached to the distal end 2b of the door body 2 and other end is attached to a counterweight 8 through fixed pulleys 6 and 7. A stopper 14 for fixing the movable pulley 11 at a position where the extension coil spring 13 is extended is provided. When erecting the door body 2 beforehand, the stopper 14 is released to make the movable pulley 11 movable, the movable pulley 11 is moved with energizing force that the extension coil spring 13 is to contract, and the tension in the direction of erecting the door body 2 is imparted to the wire rope 5. Even when water does not flow in, the door body is easily erected by a simple operation.
