Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating caliper type disc brake device capable of stably exhibiting a caliper return operation and securely preventing a draw slide of a pad.SOLUTION: A floating caliper type disc brake device comprises: a floating caliper 13 which has a pair of press arms 41, 43 which extend from a base 25 supported slidably on a cylindrical support part 29 of a support through a guide pin 31 and hold a disk rotor 40 therebetween; a brake pad 15 provided at tip parts of the press arms 41, 43; a driving piston 17 provided to the pair of press arms 41; a friction rubber ring 19 elastically and slidably supporting a guide pin 31 in the cylindrical support part 29; and washer members 21a, 21b fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical support part 29 so as to restrict an axial movement of the friction rubber ring 19. The washer members 21a, 21b are provided with a beveled part 23 capable of adjusting an amount of elastic deformation along the axis of the friction rubber ring 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
