Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement works such as welding on a floating platform by forming an incombustible layer in the inside of the ceiling wall of the floating platform main body and arranging a hard thermoplastic resin foam body which is formed between the incombustible layer and a block lump.
SOLUTION: A floating platform is so formed that a block lump 4 assembled by closely fitting thermoplastic resin foam blocks 3, 3&Kgr together is filled inside the steel floating platform main body 2 formed into a box shape having an opening part 1 in its bottom. An incombustible layer 5 is formed inside a ceiling wall 2a of the floating platform main body 2 having this structure and a hard thermoplastic resin foam body 6 formed into a plate shape is arranged between this incombustible layer 5 and the block lump 4. Therefore, if works such as welding is implemented on the floating platform, the heat is eliminated from being transmitted to the thermoplastic resin foam blocks 3 of the bottom layer. This constitution can distribute local load applied on the floating platform.
