To provide a floating sand collector capable of collecting flowing water layers at different water depth positions of the flowing water of a river at the same time.
The floating sand collector 1 has a plurality of cylindrical bodies 2 for collecting the floating sand mixed with the flowing water of the river to flow as muddy water, the support frame 3 for supporting a plurality of the cylindrical bodies 2 and the support 5 connected to the support frame 3 at its one end and connected to a lift device 4, which introduces the cylindrical bodies 2 into water and drawing the same out of water, at its other end. Each of the cylindrical bodies 2 comprises a bent pipe and at least one end opening part of both end opening parts of the bent pipe is equipped with a lid plate 7 operated by an actuator 6. The opening part equipped with the lid plate 7 of the opening parts of each of the cylindrical bodies 2 is arranged on the upstream side of a river flow to collect floating sand.
