PURPOSE: To discharge floating stock rapidly and exactly by means of a conveyer by using a remover in which a coolant returning device is provided between cleaning liquid tank and a sedimentation tank and a means to propel floating stock is provided by making an opening at the top of the sedimentation tank.

CONSTITUTION: In removing floating stock during the operation of a coolant cleaner, the coolant in the cleaning liquid tank 3 is first returned to the sedimentation tank 2 through the pipe line 16, and when the water level of the sedimentation tank 2 rises and reaches the fixed level D situated inside the opening 18, the float switch 19 is closed and a timer is operated. By the signal of the timer, the overall nozzle 20 is connected to the pressurized liquid supply source 11, air is jetted from the nozzle 20, the floated stock C together with the surface portion of coolang are propelled toward the opening 18, and then they are pushed into the conveyer path 9 and then scraped and discharged by means of the scraper 7b of the conveyer 7 moving in a sliding manner on the inclined wall plate 2b.
