To provide a floating suspended matter collecting apparatus efficiently sucking and collecting floating suspended matter over a wide range as well as around a suction port with a simple constitution.

The floating suspended matter collecting apparatus 1 includes: the suspended matter suction port 12 supported to be located under the water surface by a floating support body floatable on the water surface; a collecting means for collecting the floating suspended matter to the suspended matter suction port 12; and a suction pump 16 sucking and collecting the floating suspended matter collected by the collecting means. The collecting means is composed of eight lanes 18 radially arranged and fixed around the suspended matter suction port 12, and raking means for moving between the outer edge side ends of the lanes and the side end of the suspended matter suction port 12. Each raking means is formed of: rotating mechanism parts 20 provided at both ends of the lane 18; an endless belt 24 stretched over the rotating mechanism parts 20; and a plurality of rake blades 26 provided on the endless belt 24.
