Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation reaction vessel capable of supplying sludge to a closed sludge pressuring type dehydrator without requiring an additional pump by operating in a closed space under a high pressure and generating no clogging.
SOLUTION: The flocculation reaction vessel is equipped with the impeller 4 arranged to the flocculation region 2 of a reaction vessel 1 forming a hermetically closed space, the cylindrical screen 5 arranged in a concentration region 3 and having a separated liquid region 8 formed therein, the sludge charging system 6 communicating with the flocculation region 2 to feed raw sludge accompanied by a flocculant under pressure, the sludge discharge system 7 communicating with the concentration region 3 and a separated liquid discharge system 9 communicating with the separated liquid region 8 of the cylindrical screen 5. Self-cleaning effect is generated by the rotation of the cylindrical screen 5 and solid recovery is enhanced by the movement of the separated liquid and floc in the opposite direction.
