Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation treatment chemical which solves the following problem that, when a crosslinkable water-soluble polymer is used as a sludge dewatering agent or a yield improving agent, although the water content of dewatered cake can be reduced, or formation can be maintained, the amount of the polymer to be added increases to obtain its effect causing increase of the cost, so that the amount of the polymer has to be decreased while keeping the merits of the polymer.
SOLUTION: The flocculation treatment chemical comprises a crosslinkable, ionizable, water-soluble polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising a specified monomer and a monomer having vinyl groups and a vinyl amine water-soluble polymer.
