The flocculator 1 is equipped with a rotary shaft comprising a coupling member 40 that coaxially couples a drive shaft 30 and a hollow shaft 10, which coupling member 40 of the rotary shaft is constituted of an inner ring 41 having a spherical slide face 41a disposed on either of the end part of the drive shaft 30 at the hollow shaft 10 side and the end part of the hollow shaft 10 at the drive shaft 30 side, an outer ring 42 that slidably houses the inner ring 41 which outer ring 42 is disposed on the other of the end part of the hollow shaft 10 at the drive shaft 30 side and the end part of the drive shaft 30 at the hollow shaft 10 side, and a slide restriction means that restricts the slidable range of the inner ring 41 relative to the outer ring 42 in such a manner that the crossing angle of the axes of the hollow shaft 10 and the drive shaft 30 is kept equal to or smaller than a tolerable inclination angle , with the other end part of the hollow shaft 10 than the end part thereof at the drive shaft 30 side supported by a spherical bearing 7.
