Title:
FLOCKED TOOL AND EQUIPMENT HAVING ANTISLIP EFFECT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000034666
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To find out a method for treating the surface by which the surface of a tool or equipment is treated so as to manifest antislip effects even when wetting of water, perspiration and slimy materials stick and the extent of the antislip effects can further be regulated.

The surface of a tool or equipment is covered with short and thick flocks 1-1 to deepen the biting in of piles into an adhesive and prevent the flocks 1-1 from peeling and falling off. The length of piles appearing from the surface is about 0.1-0.2 mm. Thereby, the contact with the outside is always made only at the tips of the piles. That is, antislip effects are produced even when water, perspiration or slimy materials stick to fill gaps between the piles. The thickness of the piles and length of the piles emerging from the surface are changed to regulate the extent of the slip.
