Title:
FLOCKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6426771
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a flocking machine for downward moving a needle holding a hair fiber in the groove of its hook portion to insert into a scalp material, supporting the hair fiber with a catching spring, forming a loop, allowing a looper to advance into the loop, turning the movement of the needle into an upward movement, easily releasing the loop from the tapered portion of the hook portion, and flocking the hair fiber at a prescribed position.

CONSTITUTION: A needle 1 holding a hair fiber 5 in the groove 10a of its hook portion is downward moved to insert into a scalp material, and when the needle 1 reaches a prescribed position, a catching spring tip 23a comes into contact with the lower portion of the hook groove 10a to support the hair fiber 5. The needle 1 is further downward moved to tense the hair fiber 5, and then turned to an upward movement to form the loop of the hair fiber 5. The tip of a looper advances into the loop. The needle 1 is continuously upward moved, and the loop of the hair fiber 5 is released from the needle 1 along the lower tapered portion 11b of the hook. The looper is also retreated in interlock with the movement of the needle 1 and separated from the loop. Only the hair fiber is fixed to a prescribed position. Thereby, the generation of a trouble such as a failure on the formation of a loop or the separation of the hair fiber 5 from the hook portion can perfectly be prevented.
