To facilitate getting on and off operation of an aged person and a child or the like by providing a step surface formed in an getting on and off port of a bus and a passage floor surface formed on the same plane with this getting on and off port step surface.

In a low floor type bus, a getting on and off port 23 is arranged on the left side of the forefront part of a car body 20, and on the inside of the getting on and off port 23, a passage floor surface 23 is lowered up to a getting on and off port step surface 24, and both surfaces 24 are formed as the same plane having no step difference. Plural seats S are arranged on the left and right of this passage floor surface 24, and in the respective seats S on a front wheel tire house 25 on both left and right sides, a seat floor surface 27 on which feet are placed when a driver is seated is arranged on the front side of the respective seats S, and a step surface 28 for seats is formed between this seat floor surface 27 and the passage floor surface 24. This step surface 28 is formed in a position lower than the seat floor surface 27 as well as in an almost intermediate position higher than the passage floor surface 24. Therefore, a height difference is shortened, and getting on and off to the seats S is facilitated.
