To provide a floor finish application tool and method, which eliminate the need for cleaning work, being provided with a disposable or quickly replaceable device.
A floor finish application tool 10 is provided with a disposable or quickly replaceable device such as a supply line or a reservoir 26 of a floor finish. A head 12 includes two portions composed of a floor finish spreading or distributing portion and a leveling portion to provide a substantially uniform floor finish thickness over the whole floor, which are linked through a hinge. An applicator pad 44 is composed of at least two different types of materials. A first material is a floor finish distributing material having a function to substantially uniformly spread a large amount of floor finish over the whole floor. A second material is a floor finish finishing material suitable for leveling the already spread floor finish.
