PURPOSE: To radiate the heat in a heat accumulating layer effectively from floor surface promoting the heating efficiency by a method wherein a radiating surface of a heat pipe provided on a heat accumulating layer is designed to be the floor surface in the room.
CONSTITUTION: When hot air is supplied for a heat accumulating layer 15, a heating medium is evaporated at evaporating elements 16b of a heat pipe 16 due to the temperature rise in the heat accumulating layer 15 radiating from a radiating part 16a constituting the floor surface to perform the floor heating. On the other hand, in the summer time when water supply system water is fed for a heat exchanger 21 cooling a heat medium reservoir 18 and opening a valve 19, the heat medium in the heat pipe 16 is condensed flowing in the heat medium reservoir 18 to be recovered. Therefore when the valve 19 is closed after recovering the heat medium, the heat pipe 16 is made inactive preventing the radiation from the radiating part 16a. Besides when the heat pipe 16 is directly placed on the ground removing the bottom wall, the heat accumulator may reserve heat even in the summer time by means of supplying the reservoir with hot air since the heat pipe 16 is in inactive status.
