To solve the problem wherein, for stripping square tiles mainly of polyvinyl chloride called P-tiles, the tiles are firmly stuck, and because the tiles themselves are hard, a stripped portion breaks and stripping work is performed in a state of stripping only a small portion at a time, and stripping work performed with a stoop while holding a hand-held handle by removing a detachable handle imposes a great deal of burden on a worker.
The floor material stripping machine is provided with wheels for moving at the rear lower part of a floor material stripping machine body, and a grip-cum-step provided above the wheels. During floor material stripping work, the worker puts the foot on the grip-cum-step and applies a load to it. The floor material stripping work can thereby be performed while applying the load to the cutting edge of a cutter.
