To provide a floor material that can prevent a woodgrain pattern of a laminated wood from appearing on a surface even though being repeatedly left in a dry or humid condition, and uses a laminated wood formed of a cedar material.
A floor material 10 comprises: a cedar laminated wood 1 formed by laminating and bonding a plurality of veneer sheets 1a-1e made of a cedar material; a wood-fiber sheet 2 bonded on a surface of the cedar laminated wood 1; and a surface decorative layer 3 bonded on a surface of the wood-fiber sheet 2. The cedar laminated wood 1 has a concave/convex part 5 on the surface, which forms the woodgrain pattern. The wood-fiber sheet 2 is made of a wood fiber of a broadleaf tree which has an air-dried specific gravity of 0.7 or more, has a thickness thinner than or equal to a thickness of the cedar laminated wood 1 and has a thickness of 4.0 mm-6.0 mm.
