To provide a floor nozzle for electric vacuum cleaner, wherein the pressing force of a floor sweeping part to a floor surface can be adjusted, and the floor surface contact area does not change even by a large suction force.

On the bottom surface of a floor nozzle main body 11, a floor surface sweeping part 12 which is slightly smaller than the area of an opening 14, is provided in a manner to go through the opening 14, and on the side of the floor sweeping part 12, which is located on the inside of the floor nozzle main body 11, a flange 15 which is larger than the area of the opening 14 is provided. In addition, on the flange 15 side of the floor sweeping part 12, a rib 16 for the sweeping part is provided, and on the top of the floor sweeping part 12, a supporting part 17 for a spring is provided, and on the supporting part 17 for the spring, a rib 18 for the supporting part is provided in a manner to be confronted with the rib 16 of the sweeping part, respectively. A problem is solved by providing a compression coil spring 19 of a natural length being longer than the distance between the floor surface sweeping part 12 and the supporting part 17 of the spring, having a diameter which can enter the insides of the rib 16 of the sweeping part and the rib 18 of the supporting part.
