Abstract:
PURPOSE: To take in all dust certainly into a main brush chamber by providing a lip at a dust box of a floor cleaning vehicle, and arranging this lip so that it is rotatable from the position in slide contact with the floor surface to the position apart from it and vice versa.
CONSTITUTION: First a mode switch 22 is turned to Auto, and a main brush 7 is rotated, and a floor cleaning vehicle 1 is put advancing. If in this condition, a comparatively large object such as stone contacts a lip 11, the lip 11 and a rotary disc 10 are going to rotate counterclockwise round a supporting shaft 9. This causes the piston rod 13a of a hydraulic cylinder 13 to be willing to elongate. The decrease of the pressure in the piston head chamber 19a arising at this time is sensed by a pressure sensor 21. On the basis of the signal obtained, a hydraulic control device 20 controls a working oil supply device 17, and the working oil is supplied to the piston head chamber 19a while the oil in the piston rod chamber 19b is collected. This causes elongating of the piston rod 13a, and the rotary disc 10 and lip 11 rotate counterclockwise round the supporting shaft 9.
