To provide functions by which three kinds or either two kinds of using methods wherein the water supply of washing water, washing with a brush and the suction of dirty water by using a squeegee are simultaneously performed, only the water supply and washing are simultaneously performed without performing the suction of the dirty water, and in addition, only the suction of the dirty water is performed without performing the water supply and washing for a floor surface washing and cleaning machine which performs the cleaning of a floor surface by rotating a brush at a high speed with a motor.

This floor surface washing and cleaning machine is constituted in such a manner that the relative positional relationship between the brush RA which washes the floor surface FR, and the squeegee blades 10A and 10B for the suction of dirty water can be freely switched to a location wherein both of the brush RA and the squeegee blades 10A and 10B are made to touch the floor surface FR, a location wherein only the brush RA is made to touch the floor surface FR, and a location wherein only the squeegee blades 10A and 10B are made to touch the floor surface FR.
