PURPOSE: To improve the water-proofing ability and the adhesive property to asphalt and to improve the resistance to the pass of heavy machinery by spraying thermoplastic particles on a film water-proof layer applied to the surface layer of a floor system, and then applying asphalt paving.
CONSTITUTION: After thermoplastic particles are sprayed on a film water-proof layer applied to the surface layer of a concrete floor system, asphalt paving is applied. The thermoplastic particles to be used have a softening point within a temperature range of 20°C-120°C. By this arrangement, the compressive force and the shearing force applied to the film when the heavy machinery passes are dispersed, and the concentrated load on the water-proof layer can be avoided, so that the damage of the film can be held down to the minimum.
