To provide a flooring laying method which is easy to register a flooring even in the execution by using pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tapes and enables adhesive-fixing of the flooring at a desired position of a floor bed material.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tapes 2 are applied to a flooring 1, and the registration of the flooring 1 is performed in the state of inserting a flooring laying jig 6 made of a plate of a material having a critical surface tension of not higher than 31 (dyn/cm) and a tensile strength of not less than 1,700 (N/cm2) and having an adhesion area of its convex surface having a large number of projected portions formed thereon to the pressure- sensitive adhesive double coated tapes 2 of not more than 40% when the convex surface is regarded as a plane between the flooring 1 and a floor bed material 5 in such a manner that the convex surface of the fooling laying jig 6 is contacted with the pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tapes 2, and the floor fixing jig 6 is stripped while pressing the flooring 1 to the side of the floor bed material 5 and then, the flooring 1 is pressed to the side of the floor bed material 5 to effect adhesive-fixing.
