This flooring material separator 10 includes a traveling unit 200 which travels by crawler-type drive units 220L and 220R, and a working body unit 100 which is connected to the traveling unit 200 so as to be placed on the traveling unit 200. The working body unit 100 is connected to a rotary frame 225 which is provided in the traveling unit 200; and the rotary frame 225 is constituted in such a manner as to be rotatable in the direction of tilting the working body unit 100 forward. The rotary frame 225 is rotated so that the working body unit 100 can be inclined relatively to the traveling unit 200. This enables the avoidance of the falling of the flooring material separator 10, which is caused because the center of gravity of the flooring material separator 10 is shifted in the direction of inclination when the flooring material separator travels on an inclined plane. In other words, the flooring material separator can move on the inclined plane.
