Title:
FLOUR MILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1157509
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of roll surfaces to improve the accuracy of fine powder grain sizes by installing flour milling roll sets oppositely installed with driven rolls above and below one side of driving rolls in upper and lower two stages, combining these roll sets in such a manner that the flour past the upper stage is supplied to the lower stage and installing peeling means to the respective rolls. SOLUTION: The driving rolls 11, 12 are installed vertically apart a prescribed spacing and the driven rolls 13a, 13b and 14a, 14b are installed thereto. The peeling knives 15 are tangently pressed respectively to the driving rolls 11, 12 and the driven rolls 13a, 13b and 14a, 14b. The rice grains are successively pulverized by the driving rolls 11, 12 and the driven rolls 13a, 13b and 14a, 14b and, therefore, the rice grains are depressed and pulverized 4 times while the rice grains are pulverized to the fine flour. The coarse grains are further finely pulverized and the fine flour passes as it is. A grain size distribution width is relatively narrowed by four times of the depressing and pulverizing after all and the average grain sizes are more increased and therefore, there is no need for further sieving and repulverizing.
