Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow channel device, a particle sorter, a particle outflow method, and a particle sorting method which allow particles to be sorted with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The flow channel device comprises: an inflow portion; a first outflow portion; and a second outflow portion. A carrier fluid transporting particles flows to the inflow portion. The first outflow portion has an inflow port to which a part of the carrier fluid flowing from the inflow portion flows, a holding part connected to the inflow port to hold particles, and a particle outflow port causing the particles in the holding part to flow to a prescribed flow channel area by the carrier fluid flowing from the inflow port. The second outflow portion has a peripheral outflow line surrounding the particle outflow portion causes another part of the carrier fluid flowing from the inflow portion to flow to a peripheral flow channel area surrounding the prescribed flow channel area via the peripheral outflow line.
