Abstract:
PURPOSE:To change the lubricant discharge quantity for one vibration of an electrostrictive vibrator by changing the width of the pulse signal controlling the excitation of the primary coil of a DC/DC converter outputting the voltage applied to the electrostrictive vibrator in response to the engine parameter. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse current is fed between a metal plate 6 fixed with an electrostrictive vibrator 6 and a coil spring 9 to repeatedly curve the electrostrictive vibrator 8 and the metal plate 6, a pump 10 discharges the lubricant sucked into a pressure chamber 1A. A pulse width modulating means 62 inputted with the signal with the preset frequency from an oscillator 60 is provided, and the pulse width is modulated based on the output of a comparing means 64 comparing the voltage value obtained in response to the engine rotating speed Ne and the preset voltage value. The on-time of the first and second switching means 68 and 69 driven in turn whenever a pulse is outputted from a pulse shaping means 61 is made variable, and the output voltage of the secondary coil 72 of a transformer 70, i.e., the deflection quantity of the electrostrictive vibrator 8, is changed.
