Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve, while securing the necessary maximum flow rate of a flow control valve, the controllability in a low flow rate region.SOLUTION: A seal part 11a for sitting on a valve seat 51 to shut off fluid is provided near a valve element shaft 12 which is on the bottom face side of a valve element body 11 having an almost conical shape. The surface on the outer peripheral side of the seal part 11a is provided with plural annular projections 13 at predetermined intervals in a concentric circular manner, which project in a direction crossing the flow direction of the fluid in a flow passage formed between the surface and a passage wall 52 just downstream of the valve seat 51. With this, in a region in which a valve lift is relatively small, a flow is meandered between the plural annular projections 13 and the passage wall 52 to be increased in turbulence and pressure loss so that a relationship between a valve lift and a flow rate is changed to a more linear direction and the controllability in flow rate regulation can be improved.
