To provide a flow control valve applicable to a small freezer, as the outline and main mechanism portion of a conventional flow control valve remains unchanged, by providing pressure reducing parts ranging to the valve.
A flow control valve includes a valve body 20 having a fluid entrance hole 22 communicating with a valve room 21 and a fluid passage hole 23 and a valve disc 31 provided on a conical valve stem 30 movable to an axial direction in the valve room 21 and moved in and out of the fluid passage hole 23, the flow entrance hole 22 being a small diameter hole having throttle function to form a first step pressure reducing part in the fluid inlet hole 22. An auxiliary valve room 52 is formed between the valve room 21 and the fluid passage hole 23 and the valve stem 30 is loosely inserted in the auxiliary valve room for throttling in an annular gap 53 between the auxiliary valve room and the valve stem 30 to form a second step pressure reducing part.
