Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the self-excited vibration of a valve element caused by the flow in a clearance between the valve element and a cage in a flow govering valve for dividing the fluid flowing in the clearance into the main flow and the by-pass flow.
SOLUTION: A taper face 28a-1 gradually inclined to a cage 25 side toward a by-pass outlet 30a of the clearance 30 is formed on an outer peripheral face 28a of a main valve 28, to narrow an area of a passage of the by-pass outlet 30a. The area of the passage of the by-pass outlet is narrowed by forming a taper face on the cage, forming a projection on the main valve, or forming a projection on the cage. Further an area of a passage of a main outlet of the clearance is narrowed by forming the taper face on the main valve, forming the taper face on the cage, forming the projection on the main valve, or forming the projection on the cage. A taper angle of the taper face is 30° or less.
