Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to measure a flow rate by a small calculation quantity, and also to enable to reduce electric power consumption.
SOLUTION: In this flow measuring device, the data, obtained from an upper- stream side thermopile 101 and a down-stream side thermopile 103 of a flow sensor 107, are inputted into a differential amplifier 109, respectively. In the differentiated and amplified data by the differential amplifier 109, a peak is detected by a peak hold circuit 111 and successively A/D converted by an A/D converter 113. The A/D converted data are inputted into a judging part 115 of a microcomputer 121, and judged, by the judging part 115, whether a pulse width should be changed on reference to a look-up table 117 or a flow-rate operation should be performed by a flow operation part 119.
