To reduce refrigerant noise or the like in a changeover while certainly performing the changeover operation of a pilot valve body even when a high-pressure refrigerant pressure is applied to the pilot valve body of a pilot valve, in a flow passage changeover valve which switches between the flow passages for a refrigerant by driving a main valve part constituting a refrigeration cycle by the pilot valve.
A main valve body 13 is slid on a main valve seat 22 by allowing the admission of a high-pressure refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle from a high pressure joint pipe 24d of the pilot valve 20, and allowing it to flow into an auxiliary valve chamber 18a or auxiliary valve chamber 18b of a four-way selector valve 10 through a selector joint pipe 24a or selector joint pipe 24b. In the pilot valve 20, an electric motor comprising a rotor 5 and stator unit 6 is driven, the pilot valve body 23 is moved linearly by the rotational force of the rotor 5 using a screw feed mechanism, and the four-way selector valve 10 is driven by switching between the destinations of high pressure refrigerant inflow with respect to the four-way selector valve 10.
