Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate adjustment type rotary valve configured to secure high sealing property and operability in opening and closing a valve element, having excellent economic efficiency while improving durability with a simple structure, minimizing deterioration of the valve element or a seal member due to fluid and loss during inflow and outflow of the fluid, and capable of switching a flow passage while adjusting a minute flow rate at high accuracy.SOLUTION: A spherical valve element 3 having through holes 30, 31 and 32 is inserted into a body 2 having at least two inflow/outflow ports 10, 11 and 12 in a rotatable manner via a seal member 5, a flow rate adjusting plug 8 is rotatably inserted into the through holes 30, 31 and 32 from a direction opposite from an insertion side of the valve element 3, and the flow rate adjusting plug 8 is rotated when the valve element 3 is opened, and thus, a flow passage area of the through holes 30, 31 and 32 can be adjusted.
