To provide a flow rate compensating method in the neutral state of an operating lever for heavy equipment which can drive an actuator similarly drive by a control input by the operating lever even if the number of rotation of an engine is changed.
The flow rate compensating method comprises the steps of setting flow rates required by the control input by the operating lever and the number of rotation of the engine, controlling the displacement volume of a hydraulic pump so that the minimum flow rate is discharged from the hydraulic pump if the operating lever is in the neutral state, controlling the hydraulic pump so as to discharge the flow rate required for compensating the number of rotation of the engine if the operating lever is not in the neutral state and the flow rate required for compensating the number of rotation of the engine is larger than the flow rate required by the operating lever and controlling the hydraulic pump so as to discharge the flow rate corresponding to the control input by the operating lever if the operating lever is not in neutral state and the flow rate required by the operating lever is larger than the flow rate required for compensating the number of rotation of the engine.
