Abstract:
PURPOSE: To heighten measuring precision by allowing no influence of the temperature of a ultrsomnic wave flow meter.
CONSTITUTION: A flow rate measurement device is equipped with ultrasonic wave vibrators 13, 14 provided in a fluid conduit 12, a switching means 24 for sending and receiving between the vibrators 13, 14, a clocking means 19 measuring a propagation time between the vibrators 13, 14, a upstream preceeding measuring means 22 measuring the,propagation time from a downstream side to a upstream side, after measuring the propagation tame from the upstream side to the downstream side, and a downstream preceeding measuring means 23 measuring the propagation time from the upstream side to the downstream side, after measuring the propagation time from the downstream side to the upstream side, and a flow rate computing means 20 computing a flow rate from the average value of these two measuring means 22, 23. Thereby, measuring error caused by the temperature changes of electronic circuits and fluid are reduced so as to heighten the measuring precision of the flow rate.
