Title:
FLOW RATE VARIATION DISCRIMINATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3494688
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To discriminate whether a flow rate variation is generated by the ignition or the extinction of a gas utensil, or it is generated by a flow variation by the same gas utensil being used.
CONSTITUTION: An instant flow rate is measured by a flow measuring means 41. The measured instant flow rate is averaged (approximated step by step) at every specific time, by an average value operation means 42, and the flow rate average value is stored in a memory 43. In a variation flow rate operation means 44, a variation flow rate is calculated from the variation of the present flow rate average value from the average value operation means 42, and the variation of the past flow rate average value stored in the memory 43. And a flow rate variation continuation time is measured by a flow rate variation continuation time measuring means 45. In a discriminating means 46, it is decided whether the flow variation is generated by the ignition or the extinction, or by a flow variation of the same gas utensil.
