Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowing-down liquid film type condensation evaporator and a method of its use in which the manufacturing cost is reduced, and there is also ensured heat exchange utilizing thermo-siphon effect. SOLUTION: There is provided liquid distribution means 38 that includes a liquid storage section 35 which stores an evaporated fluid falling down from an upper portion above a heat exchanger core 34 and on the upper side of a side bar 39 that closes an upper portion of a condensation passage 32 and which has an overflow dam 36 for flowing down the stored evaporation fluid to an evaporation passage 33 as a uniformly rectified flowing-down liquid film, and which further includes a liquid collection plate 37 that has a slope section 37a extending obliquely upwardly so as to cover an upper portion of a opening of the evaporation passage 33 and that guides obliquely upwardly the evaporation fluid evaporated in the evaporation passage 33, and captures the evaporation fluid flowing down from the upper portion and leads the same to a fluid collection plate 37.
