Abstract:
To obtain an additive which is well soluble in a base oil and imparts a good low-temperature flowability thereto.
This flowability improver contains, as the essential ingredient, a polymer (A) which contains (a) at least 50 wt.% units derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate having an odd number of 7-31C alkyl groups and optionally (a2) 0-30 wt.% units derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate having an odd number of 1-5C alkyl groups and has a solubility parameter of 8.8-9.7.
