To provide a flower holding device and a decorative structure of clothing capable of easily and attractively decorating the clothing with a flower.

The flower holding device 1 for putting a flower on clothing W is composed of a clamping means 20 provided with a pair of clamping members 25 and 25 capable of being brought close to or separated from each other for clamping the stem 31 of a flower 30 inserted through an insertion opening Wa, and an urging means 15 for urging the pair of clamping members 25 and 25 of the clamping means 20 toward each other, wherein the clamping means 25 and 25 respectively comprise stem holding parts 26 having curved surfaces facing each other to form a substantially oval gap between them. The flower 30 can be fixed to the clothing W at its stem 31 inserted through the insertion opening Wa of the clothing W and when the stem 31 of the flower 30 is clamped by the clamping means 20 of the flower holding device 1 at the rear side of the clothing W such that the pedals 32 of the flower 30 are disposed at the front side of the clothing W and its stem 31 at its rear side.
