Title:
FLOWER POT USING LIGNITE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008263907
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a flower pot using lignite enabling effective utilization of lignite and excellent in water permeability, air permeability and the like.

The flower pot using lignite 10 is obtained by: admixing lignite whose granular diameter accounts for about 30-90% based on the wall thickness of the flower pot 10 at 1-60 vol.% to clay 2 to prepare ceramic art soil; using the ceramic art soil to create an original form material 1 for the flower pot 10; and charging the original form material 1 into a kiln to perform biscuit firing followed by performing glost firing after standing it to cool, so that the lignite is burnt/lost to form a lot of air gaps 4. The lignite corresponding to a desired pattern is pressed into the clay 2 so as to be exposed outside at its surface when creating the original form material 1, and the original form material 1 is subjected to biscuit firing so as to burn/eliminate the lignite to form air gaps 24 corresponding to the pattern at the surface of the original form material 1, and the air gaps are colored with paints.
