Title:
FLOWER STAND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000279297
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To form various kinds of flower stands by a single body by providing a strip body consisting of tubes having a diameter sufficient to insert a flower stem and holes for inserting the tubes in parallel at prescribed intervals, which are mutually connected in the hole walls, winding the strip body from one end, and fixing the other end to the circumference of the strip body.

A strip body (a) is formed out of tubes 1 and a corrugated board 2 having holes 3 for inserting the tubes 1 formed thereon, and the strip body (a) is bendable in a hole wall space 4 to an optional degree because of its material, and when each hole wall space 4 is set to an equal interval, the strip body (a) can be spirally wound from one end. To hold the winding of the strip body (a), the outer edge part of the wound strip body (a) is affixed to the circumferential corrugated board 2 by use of an adhesive to retain the shape, or the whole body is wrapped with a wrapping paper instead of adhesion. In the use for a flower stand, a flower stem such as artificial flower is inserted to the tube 1. When the stem is larger than the tube 1, the step can be inserted by slitting the tube 1, and the hole 3 is expansible due to the corrugated board.
