To enable a flower stand to stand on a table while holding a flower and reduce the size of the flower stand strikingly by forming a flower stand by combining a grip which can grasp the stem of a glass with a holder through which a flower stalk can be inserted.

A holder 4 holds the stalk F1 of a flower F under the inserted condition, and a cut 6 is provided at one end to form a ring so that the ring 5 is expandable according to the thickness of the flower stalk. The grip 2 can grasp the stem G1 of a glass G, and has a C-letter shape with an opening 3 at one end. When the flower stand 1 is used, the opened both ends of the opening 3 are abutted on the stem G1 of the glass G, and further push opens the opening 3 to outside fit the grip 2 to the stem G1 so that the flower stand 1 is fixed to the glass G. Then the tip of the stalk F1 of a flower F is pushed into the ring 5 of the holder 4, expanding the ring 5 from the cut 6 to insert the stalk to hold the stalk.
