Title:
FLOWER TABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2743261
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate flowering plants with a table, to hide the section of a pot made dirty by soil and to eliminate the danger of dropping by inserting the flowerpot, in which the flowers are planted, into a recessed part provided on the top plate of the table.
SOLUTION: Concerning a top plate 2, a rectangular recessed part 4 is provided at the central part, and the recessed part 4 is composed of a rectangular hole 4a provided on the top plate 2 and a box body 4b covering the hole 4a from the lower side. On the bottom of the box body 4b, a drain port 4c and a cap 4d for it are provided. The planar shape of the hole 4a at the recessed part 4 is made equal with that of a flowerpot 7 so that a flange 7a of the flowerpot 7 can be hung around the hole 4a of the recessed part 4. In this case, a hole 8 for circulating air is provided at the upper part of side face of the box body 4b. Even when the flowerpot 7 planting flowers 9 is made dirty by soil, the flowerpot 7 itself is hidden in the recessed part 4 so that the upper surface of a table 1 can not get dirty. Further, even when any arm or luggage touches the flowerpot inserted in the recessed part 4, there is no danger of falling or dropping from the table 1 and it is safe.
