Abstract:

To provide a flowmeter for non-high-water which is simple in structure and easily adapted to flow paths of a large diameter.

This flowmeter is provided with two sets of electrodes 31, 41 arranged via a predetermined distance in a flowing direction of a fluid and an operation means 50 for multiplying a water level signal of the fluid obtained from an impedance of one set of electrodes among the two sets of electrodes 31, 41 and a flow velocity signal of the fluid obtained from a correlation of impedances of the two sets of electrodes 31, 41. Each set of electrodes is partly soaked in the fluid flowing in a pipe 10 in a state not filling the pipe. A flow rate of the fluid is obtained from an output signal of the operation means 50.
