Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliable fluid bearing device to completely block outflow of a lubricant.
SOLUTION: This fluid bearing device comprises a sleeve having one end fixed at a lower case 1 and being rotatable around a fixed shaft provided in the vicinity of the other end part with a first flange member 4A, a second flange member 4B, and an upper shaft part; and an approximately annular thrust disc 7 located at an intermediate part between the first and second flange members 4A and 4B; an approximately annular cover member 8 on the opposite side to the lower case 1 of the second flange member 4B; radial dynamic pressure grooves 3A and 3B formed in at least either of the opposite surfaces of a fixed shaft 2 and a sleeve 10; an outside thrust dynamic pressure groove 5 formed at least either of the opposite surfaces of the second flange member 4B and the thrust disc 7; taper parts on the fixed shaft 2, positioned approximately adjacently to each other, on the opposite side to the two flange members of the radial dynamic pressure grooves 3A and 3B; and the radial groove and the thrust dynamic pressure groove filled with a lubricant. This constitution provide the fluid bearing device to completely prevent outflow of the lubricant and have high reliability.
